A light eclipsed but not extinguished

Yesterday’s solar eclipse at 19.43 UK, the second New Moon now in the very last degree of Virgo brought a call to completion, release and surrender. Virgo is about humility, service and simplicity. We may be tying up loose ends, connecting back to the past in some way, before we embark on the next part of our journey. Virgo is about refining and elevating our energy. The opposition to Saturn highlights the importance of respect and impeccability in thought and word and action.

Eclipse portals always represent heightened energy and this one has brought a roller coaster of emotional highs and lows, accompanied by a real sense of revival, re-set and rebirth around the world. And today we celebrate the autumn equinox at 18.20 UK when the Sun moves into Libra, an invitation to listen and re-consider, a call to balance and harmony.

Libra is about ‘the other’ and at the Autumn Equinox the Sun conjuncts the Super Galactic Centre. An appropriate time for us to become aware of 3I/Atlas, the interstellar body from outside our solar system travelling through our celestial sphere. Third Eye comes to mind as the collective veil slips and we start to see our world with more clarity and discernment.

We have a wonderful grand trine in Air which forms a creative kite along with the Saturn Neptune conjunction. There’s a feeling of lift-off, possibility and opportunity. We can rise above challenges, be in the world but not of it.

Mars in now in Scorpio however and forming a square to Pluto. This takes us deep, we may be more aware of shadow energies within ourselves or in the world around us. While we don’t want to polarize, we can avoid being naïve.

In terms of Colour, we could consider we are moving from the deep magenta G8 bottle ‘Illumination’ to the turquoise and gold G9 bottle ‘Faith’. We can have faith in ourselves, our spiritual journey and the basic goodness of humanity. The nodal axis calls us toward the north node in Pisces: to anchor Christ Consciousness on Earth with forgiveness, divine love and oneness.
