Unity and Community
The Sun is drifting through Pisces now and we’re approaching the New Moon on the 23rd at 4 29 Pisces. Treat this as a new beginning, a time to let past conflict or pain dissolve into the light and re-connect with your dreams. Mercury travelling through Pisces and also retrograde now may go along with some confusion or misunderstanding however. Allow any projections to wash over you, step back and draw on the words of Jesus: “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.”
The Saturn Pluto conjunction in Capricorn that forms the deep tone and backdrop to our collective experience during these times can go along with judgement, heaviness, even dark energy, but rather than get caught up in our righteous indignation or reaction, what serves us and the collective energy best is to focus on the highest and best for all concerned and draw on the power of community to bring this into being. It’s a time of transmuting poison expressed on different levels and in different ways, noticing manipulation and distortion, however subtle, while not getting too caught up in judgement.
In terms of colour, the antidote to this intense combination of planets is to lift and dissolve the violet into platinum and focus on the complementary colours of yellow and gold, joy and empowerment. Together these make a colour combination that represents lightness of being and divine authority.
The Sabian symbol or image for the New Moon on the 23rd is: “A crowd in which ones hears the great, warm heart beating, is gathered for a church bazaar.” This is about unity and unconditional love, coming into our heart and taking care of our heart. Inner or outer conflicts may need to be resolved to reach this place of unconditional acceptance and love.
Mars is in Capricorn now until the end of March, offering a period of grounded, realistic and well-planned action. We can use our energy in a wise and measured way, stepping away from drama and confusion, once we’ve done what we feel called to do. “Hold your head up. Keep your head up, movin' on”
From the 5th March Venus settles down into Taurus, bringing a calmer, more nurturing energy and we begin to prepare for the big shift on the 20th at the spring equinox.
